Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) Waitemata Fisheries, Ltd., for a license to take fish for purposes of sale at Auckland by means of a 49 ft. vessel (to be constructed), using Danish seine nets.
(2) Delich and Yukich, Ltd., for a license to take fish for purposes of sale at Auckland by means of a 49 ft. vessel (to be constructed), using Danish seine nets.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than 22nd August, 1939.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from F. M. Maslin for a license to erect a new service station of six pumps in High Street, Eltham.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 24th August, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same, and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Election of Producers’ Representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee.
PURSUANT to the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, made under the Primary Products Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, notice is hereby given that a copy of the Roll of Producers qualified to vote at the election to be held on the second Wednesday in the month of September, 1939, of producers’ representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee established by the said regulations has been deposited for public inspection during ordinary office hours, for a period of seven days from the 16th day of August, 1939, at the post-offices situated at Nelson, Motueka, and Upper Moutere.

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Kaipara Development Scheme.

ALL that area of Native land in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, situate in Block V, Otamatea Survey District, and known as the Kaitara 2G 2A 2 Block, containing 163 acres 2 roods 6 perches, more or less, and being part of the land recorded in deeds index 3B 209.
