MEDICAL REGISTRATION.
I, ARTHUR GEORGE STENING COOPER, M.B., Ch.M., Sydney, 1923, D.M.R., London, 1938, now residing in New Plymouth, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 17th August next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at New Plymouth.

BRODERICK AND COMPANY, LTD.
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of BRODERICK AND COMPANY, LTD. (in Voluntary Luidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolutions were duly passed on the 25th day of July, 1939:
(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
(2) That Mr. R. C. Ross be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.
(3) That the remuneration of the liquidator shall be according to the standard scale of fees as adopted by the New Zealand Society of Accountants.
All persons firms or corporations having claims against the above company are required on or before the 15th day of August, 1939, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts and claims to the said liquidator at National Bank Chambers, Featherston Street, Wellington, and if so required by notice in writing from him are personally or by their solicitors to come in and prove such debts or claims at such times and places as shall be specified in such notice or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute certain public works-to wit, the construction of public roads-for which purposes the following lands require to be taken by the said Waipa County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928 (that is to say):
- All those pieces of land containing respectively l rood 22.5 perches and 2 roods 8 perches (more or less), being part of Lot l on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 2108, being portion of Ngamako Block.
As the same are delineated on the plan hereafter mentioned, coloured red. - All those pieces of land containing respectively l rood 18.4 perches, 26 perches, and 7.5 perches (more or less), being parts of Lot 4 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 2108. As the same are delineated on the plan hereafter mentioned, coloured blue.
- All that piece of land containing 1 rood 19.3 perches (more or less), being part of Lot l on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 26414, being portion of Ngamako Block. As the same is delineated on the plan hereafter mentioned, coloured yellow.
- All those pieces of land containing respectively 17 perches and 19 perches (more or less), being portions of Lot l on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 2108, being portion of Ngamako Block. As the same are delineated on the plan hereafter mentioned, coloured red, edged red.
- All that piece of land containing 15 perches (more or less), being part of Lot l on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. 26414, being portion of Ngamako Block. As the same is delineated on the plan hereafter mentioned, coloured yellow, edged yellow.
All of which pieces of land are delineated on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland as No. 30112, a copy whereof is open for inspection at the office of the Waipa County Council, Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waipa County Council within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

Notice of meeting in compliance with section 232 of the Companies Act, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of shareholders of the above company will be held at the Hall, Kaimiro, on Friday, 11th August, 1939, at 7.30 p.m., at which there will be laid before the shareholders an account showing how the winding up of the company has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of.
