NOTICE is hereby given that John Sykes, Limited, has changed its name to Frank Brewer, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mangonui County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so desired to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Commerce Street, Kaitaia, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers Kaitaia.

Notice to Creditors to Prove.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of MALMANCHE AND COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
THE liquidator of Malmanche and Company, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 11th day of August, 1939, as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

CHANGE OF NAME.
WE, HORACE BADEN BARTON-GINGER, of the City of Wellington, Company Director, and EVA MAY BARTON-GINGER, his Wife, heretofore called and known by the name of “GINGER,” hereby give notice that we have renounced and abandoned the use of our said surname “GINGER” and assumed in lieu thereof the surname “BARTON-GINGER,” and, further, that such change of name is evidenced by a deed-poll bearing date the 7th day of July, 1939, duly executed by us and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court Office at Wellington on the 21st day of July, 1939, and that we therefore require all persons whomsoever henceforth to designate, describe, and address us as HORACE BADEN BARTON-GINGER and EVA MAY BARTON-GINGER, respectively.
