Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council made on the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-ninth day of the same month, at page 1944, in which the powers conferred on him by section four of the said Act of appointing and removing trustees of any cemetery were delegated to the Selwyn County Council in respect of the area described as the Lake Coleridge Cemetery.

Revoking Order in Council delegating Powers under the Cemeteries Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Cemeteries Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council made on the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the Gazette on the twenty-ninth day of the same month, at page 1945, in which the powers conferred on him by section four of the said Act of appointing and removing trustees of any cemetery were delegated to the Arrowtown Borough Council in respect of the area described as the Arrowtown Cemetery and comprising Sections 12 and 13, Block XIX, Town of Arrowtown.

Setting apart Native Land as a Native Reservation.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Native freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Native Reservation for the common use of the Ngatimanuhiakai and Ngatihaaua Hapus of the Ngaruahine tribe, as a meeting-place, burial-ground, and landing-place.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing 45 acres, more or less, situated in Block V, Waimate Survey District, in the Taranaki Land District, known as Ohunuku Block, and being the whole of the land comprised in an order of the Native Land Court on partition dated the 21st day of April, 1915.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vary the Order in Council made on the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the Gazette on the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, at page 1638, and affecting Te Koutu No. 1A No. 1 and other blocks, by deleting therefrom the lands set out in the Schedule thereto and substituting therefor the lands set out in the Schedule hereto.
