Recreation Reserve in Canterbury Land District brought under Part II, of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Ouruhia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Ouruhia Domain Board.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 13·1 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve 4387 (formerly part Rural Section 1527), situated in Block III, Christchurch Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by part Rural Section 1527, 300·6 links; towards the north-east by a public road, 27·27 links; towards the south-east by Rural Section 26420, 300·6 links; and again towards the south-west by other part Reserve 4387, 27·27 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/951D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Recreation Reserve in Taranaki Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 0 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3a 2 Block, Block I, Tainui Survey District: Bounded, towards the north generally by the Mokau River, 180 links, and Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3a 3 Block, 2644·9 links; towards the south by Mokau Road, 2359·9 links; and towards the west by Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3a 1 Block, 897·9 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1017A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Auckland City Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for access purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, in trust, for access purposes.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the City of Auckland, Block X, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement 15·5 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under number 19153, and being parts of Allotments 19 and 20, District of Tamaki. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2596A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a public cemetery: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Lyttelton:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Lyttelton, in trust, for a public cemetery.
