Approving the Term of a License granted to the Auckland
Farmers' Freezing Company, Limited, for two Tramways
across portion of King's Drive, in the City of Auckland.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of
July, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Tramways Act, 1908, and the Tramways Amendment
Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doeth hereby approve of the term of the license granted on
the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
nine, for a period expiring on the twenty-eighth day of June,
one thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven, by the Mayor,
Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, to the
Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company, Limited, a company
duly incorporated under the provisions of the Companies
Act, 1933, and having its registered office at Auckland, in
the Provincial District of Auckland, in New Zealand (here-
in after referred to as "the licensee"), authorizing the licensee
to construct, lay down, maintain, and use two tramways
from lands at present leased by the licensee across portion
of King's Drive to the New Zealand Railways Yards or
Goods-sheds, all being within the City of Auckland, the
tramway tracks to be constructed, laid down, maintained,
and used, and the positions thereof, being more particularly
shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 103705, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Closing Waipuku Public Cemetery.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day
of July, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it appears to the Governor-General that
burials in the Waipuku Public Cemetery,
Waipuku, which said cemetery is described in the
Schedule hereto should be wholly discontinued:
And whereas a sufficient cemetery not within the limits
of any borough or town district has been provided and
has been prepared for the interment of the dead, as
required by the Cemeteries Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Dominion of New Zealand, and
in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Cemeteries Act, 1908, doth hereby
order and direct that from and after the first day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and forty, the
Waipuku Public Cemetery, Waipuku, described in the
Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein
discontinued, and further, that the said cemetery shall,
from and after the said first day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and forty, be vested in the Stratford
County Council under the provisions and for the
purposes of section seventy-eight of the said Cemeteries
Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
WAIPUKU PUBLIC CEMETERY.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing
by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or
less, being Sections 46, 48, 50, 52, and 53, Block IX,
Town of Waipuku, Huiroa Survey District: Bounded,
towards the north-east by Section 21, Block IX, Huiroa
Survey District, 596 links; towards the south-east by
Section 7 of the said Block IX, 500 links; towards the
south-west by Sections 51, 49, 47, and 45, Town of
Waipuku, 596 links, and towards the north-west by
Fookes and Fenwick Streets, 500 links; be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is
delineated on the plan marked 191/2/224, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Health, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

Consenting to Additional Land being taken for the Purposes
of a State Coal Depot in the City of Christchurch.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of
July, 1939.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers
in anyway enabling him in this behalf His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the
land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the
purposes of a State coal depot.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken :
38 perches.
Being Lot 4, D.P. 2, being part Rural Section 79, (City of
Christchurch.)
In the Canterbury Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102530,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all
other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the Coromandel County Council stopping the portions of
road described in the Schedule hereto.
