I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect of applications for licenses were made on the 17th July, 1939.

Manufacture of Wet Storage Batteries.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from the Vesta Battery Company Pty., Ltd., Wellington, for permission to extend its operations to include the manufacture of storage battery containers.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 1st August, 1939.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from the Auckland Trawling Co., Ltd., for a license to take fish for sale at Auckland (using Danish seine nets) by means of a 49 ft. vessel to be built to replace the 37 ft. vessel "Hinemoa."
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than 1st August, 1939.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from J. J. Thompson for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from two petrol-pumps to be installed at a store at Waiouru.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 3rd August, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same, and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

No. 1660.-Fiji: Suva Harbour. Large corrections 6/4/1939. Buoys and beacons amended throughout.
Existing copies of the above charts are thereby cancelled.

Including Additional Land in the Wharekahika Development Scheme.
PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the Native land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Wharekahika Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of Native land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District, situate in Block IV, Matakaoa Survey District, and known as the Matakaoa A Block, containing approximately 400 acres.
Dated at Wellington, this 12th day of July, 1939.
