A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Waimata Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 22 perches.
Being portion of Lot 1 of Section 82 (Bush Reserve), Block I, Waimata Survey District. (S.O. Plan 1612, brown.)
In the Gisborne Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/23A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2851, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of July, 1939.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Wellington, off Calcutta Street, of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of July, 1939.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street, in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 29-7 perches, more or less, being parts Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 646, and part Lot 23, D.P. 2472, being portion of Section 4A, Harbour District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102156, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Protection of Name and Badge of Toc H, Incorporated.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of of July, 1939.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of the Chartered Associations (Protection of Names and Uniforms) Act, 1930 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council made on the application of any association incorporated by Royal Charter, not being an association representative of any profession or business, protect the names, uniforms, and badges of any such association :
And whereas it is further provided by the said section that an Order in Council thereunder shall not be made unless notice of the application for an Order has been given in such manner and accompanied by such particulars as the Minister of Internal Affairs may direct, and that the Minister of Internal Affairs shall consider any objections to an application which are made by or on behalf of any persons or societies that would be affected or would be likely to be affected by the Order in Council :
And whereas Toc H, being an association incorporated by Royal Charter and not being an association representative of any profession or business, has, in pursuance of the said Act, made application for the protection of the name, “Toc H,” and button-badge to be worn without uniform :
And whereas notice of the said application has been duly given as required by the said Act, and no objections have been made thereto :
