Revocation of appointments of certain Garage Proprietors for issue of Warrants of Fitness.

IN terms of regulation eleven of the Traffic Regulations, 1936, and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke the approval of the persons and firms described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of the issue of Warrants of Fitness for motor-vehicles.

Paymaster Commander Greswolde Lewis Ozanne Davis, Royal Navy, Squadron Accountant Officer, H.M.S. “Leander,” to H.M.S. “Philomel,” temporarily, for Special Service, to date 26th June, 1939.

Paymaster Commander Hugh Thomas Isaac, Royal Navy, H.M.S. “Achilles,” to “Achilles,” in continuation of present appointment and as Squadron Accountant Officer, temporarily, vice Davis, to date 26th June, 1939.

Paymaster Lieutenant Robert Stuart Patrick Marrs, Royal Navy, H.M.S. “Leander,” to “Leander,” in continuation of present appointment and vice Davis, temporarily, with the acting rank of Paymaster Lieutenant-Commander, to date 26th June, 1939.

to be Inspectors of Explosives in terms of the Explosive and Dangerous Goods Act, 1908, for the purposes of inspection of explosives at mines and quarries, as from the 3rd day of July, 1939.

to be Deputy Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Colac Bay, as from the 21st day of June, 1939.
