Member of Niue Island Council appointed.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section sixty-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and by an Order in Council of the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, providing for the constitution of Island Councils in the Cook Islands, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby nominate and appoint
Tateleti Navahetan
to be a member of the Island Council of Niue to hold office during my pleasure as from the date of this Warrant.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, this 30th day of June, 1939.

Land proclaimed under the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925, notified available for Purchase for Industrial Purposes.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the fourth section of the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Amendment Act, 1926, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the undermentioned land is available for purchase as a site or sites for commercial or industrial purposes, and that the price fixed as a basis of negotiations with respect to the aforesaid land shall be seven hundred and fifty pounds per acre.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, in the Borough of Lower Hutt, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 0 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Block LVIII, Hutt Valley Settlement, formerly part of Lot 1 on plan marked S.O. 134/57, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, being formerly part of Section 14, Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, bounded, commencing at the intersection of the left bank of the Waiwhetu River with the north-east side of Bell Road; towards the north-west by the said Waiwhetu River; towards the north-east by other part of the said Section 14, Hutt Registration District, on plan No. A/1028, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; towards the south-east and north-east by Lot 3 on the said plan S.O. 134/57; towards the south-east by Gracefield Road; towards the south-west, south-east, and north-east by Lot 2 on the aforesaid plan S.O. 134/57; again towards the south-east by the said Gracefield Road; and towards the south and south-west by Bell Road to the point of commencement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 528, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of July, 1939.

Lands temporarily reserved in the Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve the lands in the Wellington, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 0 roods 7-67 perches, more or less, being Section 380, Township of Palmerston, bounded, commencing at the north-western corner of the said Section 380, on the north-west by Main Street East, 2004-4 links, on the north-east by part of Section 387, Township of Palmerston, 500-77 links, on the south-east by Lots 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 on D.P. 3114, and by Lot 1 on D.P. 2993, 2004-4 links, and on the south-west by Fitzroy Street, 501-82 links, to the point of commencement; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also all that area in the City of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 7-88 perches, more or less, being part of Section 387, Township of Palmerston, bounded, commencing at the north-west corner of the said Section 387, on the north-west by Main Street East, 408-24 links, on the north-east by Lots 1, 4, and 5 on D.P. 7244, 500 links, on the south-east by other part of the said Section 387, distance 409-85 links bearing 239° 38,' and on the south-west by Section 380, Township of Palmerston, 500-77 links, to the point of commencement; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being parts of Lots 5, 6, and 7 of Reserve 631, situated in Block XI, Waitaki Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Reserve 2910, 152-9 links; towards the east by Rural Sections 28194, 29657, and 35317, 5452-8 links; towards the south by Reserve 2911, 248 links, and towards the west by the Main South Road, 5452-8 links, save and except one road one chain wide intersecting the above-described land, due allowance for which has been made in the area. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/99/24A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Plantation.)
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing 3 acres 0 roods 39 perches, more or less, being Block VI, Town of Glenorchy, bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by Islay Street, 811-5 links bearing 71° 24'; towards the north-east by Oban Street, 400 links bearing 161° 24'; towards the south-east by Cantine Street, 811-5 links bearing 251° 24'; and towards the south-west by Argyle Street, 400 links bearing 341° 24'. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/709A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (School-site (Glenorchy).)
