Revoking the Vesting of the Control of a Reserve for a Resting-place for Travelling Stock in the Coromandel County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of July, 1939.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto was vested in the Coromandel County Council for a reserve for a resting-place for travelling stock by an Order in Council dated the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in Gazette of the eighth day of that month, in pursuance of section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection two of section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act; 1928, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 6, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District: Area, 10 acres, more or less.

Portion of Henry Street, in the City of Christchurch, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of July, 1939.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine (the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto and being coloured red on the plan mentioned therein), viz.:-

“That the Christchurch City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Christchurch, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Henry Street adjoining part of Lot 131 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 27, and being part of Rural Section 48”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Henry Street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, known as Henry Street, fronting part Lot 131, D.P. 27, being part Rural Section 48. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103190, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Portion of an unnamed Street, in the Borough of Richmond, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of July, 1939.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Richmond Borough Council, viz.:-

“The Richmond Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the Borough of Richmond, by resolution passed this twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south-western side of the road on the north-eastern side of Section 216, Waimea East, Block VI, Waimea Survey District, marked A-B, and coloured red on plan”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of street (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.
THE south-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Nelson Land District, Borough of Richmond, fronting part Section 216, Waimea East, Block VI, Waimea Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102873, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Raetihi Borough Council declared a Leasing Authority under the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of July, 1939.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Raetihi Borough Council is a body of persons having power to lease lands held in trust, reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested the Governor-General in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908:

Now, therefore, in compliance with such request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the above-mentioned Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare that the Raetihi Borough Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.
