NOTICE is hereby given that the lease and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Nelson Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land, having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Marlborough Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
Situated on the Opua-Waimate Road, three miles and a half from Opua Post-office, School, and Railway-station, by metalled road, and eight miles from Moerewa Dairy Factory and Freezing-works. There is a small area of undulating country on the sea-frontage, the balance being steep and broken, of which a very small area is ploughable. Soil is light clay resting on sandstone; watered by several permanent streams, and subdivided into six paddocks. Land is suitable for rough grazing; fairly free from noxious weeds.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 17th July, 1939.
Applicants should apply personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 19th July, 1939, at 10 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position, such as bank pass-books, certificates or letters of credit from managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms, or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply guarantees of their own financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and deposit in reduction of weighting for improvements.

Education Reserve in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 27th June, 1939.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 2.30 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, 15th August, 1939, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies' Leases Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.-EDUCATION RESERVE.
Otamatea County.-Omaru Parish.
LOT 1 of Allotment 30 : Area, 6 acres 3 roods 17 perches. Upset annual rent, 10s.
Weighted with £25 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising grassing and 20 chains fencing.
This section is situated on the Ruawai-Parahi Road, five miles by metalled cart-road from Ruawai. It comprises flat to undulating land, about 3 acre limestone, balance old kauri workings; practically all in grass with some tea-tree and fern. Soil is clay on clay formation; devoid of water. Suitable for farming in conjunction with adjoining or adjacent land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.-THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Bay of Islands County.-Kawakawa Survey District.
(Exempt from payment of rent for three years.)
SECTIONS 4 and 13, Block VIII : Area, 482 acres 1 rood 20 perches. Capital value, £200; half-yearly rent, £4.
Rent exemption is conditional on permanent improvements to the value of £20 being carried out each year during the exemption period, in addition to the improvements ordinarily required under the lease.
Weighted with £350 for improvements, consisting of 100 acres cleared, 400 chains fencing, dwelling of three rooms (unfinished), wool-shed, and yards. This sum is payable in cash or by a deposit of £35, the balance (£315) to be payable over twenty years by instalments of £12 12s. 9d. per half-year.
