FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the installments of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £1,300 authorized to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the Council's proportion of the cost of the re-construction of the Kiwitea Stream Bridge, the said Feilding Borough Council makes and levies a special rate of seven one hundred and twenty-eighths of a penny (7/128d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district comprising the whole of the Borough of Feilding, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on the 8th day of June, 1939.

NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of Associated Investments, Limited, will be held at the Board Room of W. F. Titchener's Office, Queen's Building, 109 Princes Street, Dunedin, on Monday, the 26th day of June, 1939, at 5 p.m. to consider the following resolution:

"That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue in business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily."

Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting.

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of King Solomon Deep Lead, Limited (in liquidation), will be held in the company's office, 31 Mersey Street, Gore, on Friday, 7th July, 1939, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it, and of hearing any explanations which may be given by the liquidators, and to pass the following resolution as an extra- ordinary resolution:

"That the books, documents, and accounts of the company be kept at the office of R. S. Green, Public Accountant, 31 Mersey Street, Gore, for a period of six years from the date of the passing of this resolution, and that thereafter they may be destroyed."
