Notice respecting proposed Alteration of Boundaries.—City of Christchurch.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 10th June, 1939.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the County of Waimairi and included in the City of Christchurch.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI AND INCLUDED IN THE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, on plan 11375 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch.

Rangitaiki Drainage District.—Penalty on Overdue Rates.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 5th June, 1939.

IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and its amendments, the ratepayers within the district constituted by the last-mentioned Act are hereby notified that 10 per cent. additional will be added to all rates for the year ending 31st March, 1939, unpaid on 30th June, 1939.

Rates may be paid at any money-order office, or to the Collector of Rates, Lands and Survey Department, Private Bag, Auckland, C. 1.

Manufacture of Storage Batteries.

I HEREBY give notice than an application has been received from Moulded Products (Australasia), Limited, for a license to manufacture the following parts of wet storage batteries—containers and separators.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing, so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 27th June, 1939.

I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from W. J. M. Hayward for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one petrol pump to be installed at his store at Ruatapu.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing, so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 27th June, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same, and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.
