CHANGE OF SURNAME

I, ERNEST COLLISON, of Palmerston North, in New Zealand, Taxi Proprietor, heretofore called and known by the name of ERNEST FRYER, hereby give notice that on the 16th day of May, 1939, I renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of “FRYER” and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of “COLLISON”; and further, that such change of name is evidenced by a deed dated the 16th day of May, 1939, duly executed by me and attested and enrolled in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Wellington District, Palmerston North Registry.

MOTUEKA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Aerodrome Loan.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Motueka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest repayments and other charges on a loan of £2,400, authorized to be raised under the above-mentioned Act, for the acquiring of the land on which the Motueka Aerodrome is established and for the purpose of paying the establishment costs and charges of the said aerodrome the said Motueka Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅛d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable land in the Borough of Motueka, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NOTICE is hereby given that H. C. Williamson, Ltd., has passed a resolution for voluntary winding up pursuant to the provisions applicable to a creditors’ voluntary winding up and that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the office of Bull and Edwards, Union Bank Buildings, Gladstone Road, Gisborne, on the 6th day of June, 1939, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the said company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act may appoint a committee of inspection.

The liquidator of Clive Sports Grounds, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily hereby fixes the 20th day of June, 1939, as the last day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.
