Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses have been made.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from-

(1) D. J. Smith, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one petrol pump proposed to be installed at a new store at Chaslands.
(2) R. J. Durrant, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one portable pump to be operated at premises at Opoutere.
(3) N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, for permission to move one petrol pump from the rear of the building to a new position on the kerbside at premises in Ruataniwha Street, Waipukurau.
(4) Dumpleton Bros., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one petrol pump proposed to be installed at premises at Blackball.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in respect of these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing, so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 6th June, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same, and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Manufacture and/or Assembly of Wet Storage Batteries.

HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from the Vesta Battery Company Pty., Ltd., Wellington, for permission to extend its operations to include the manufacture of storage battery separators.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 8th June, 1939.
