Decisions of the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

I HEREBY give notice that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect to applications for licenses were made on 5th May, 1939.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
Parsons, J., Devonport | Granted a license on 24th November, 1937, to install one petrol pump inside garage premises at Wynyard Street, Devonport | License withdrawn. |
Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.
I HEREBY give notice that applications have been received from—
(1) W. Hayes, for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from two petrol pumps proposed to be installed at premises nearly the intersection of the Greymouth–Hokitika Roads at Kumara Junction.
(2) Wellington Co-operative Taxi Owner Drivers’ Association, Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from two petrol pumps proposed to be installed on premises in Jervois Quay, known as the Central Service Station, Wellington.
(3) Drake Bros., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit from one commercial petrol pump already installed at premises at Te Kaha.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau in regard to these applications, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing, so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 23rd May, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Manufacture of Electric Ranges.
I HEREBY give notice that an application has been received from Radiation (New Zealand), Limited, Brinsley Works, Dunedin, for a license to carry on the industry of “the manufacture of electric ranges, including the assembly of parts thereof.”
Any person who considers that he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect to this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing, so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 13th May, 1939.
The application for a license to carry on the above industry received from the Jackson Store Agency (New Zealand), Wellington, and previously advertised by me, has now been withdrawn.
