Notifying the proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the North Auckland Land District for other Land.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor-General, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such exchange to pay or receive any sum by way of equality of exchange:
And whereas in the opinion of the Governor-General it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land of equal value described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owners of the land described in the Second Schedule have agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the areas of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the land described in the Second Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
North Auckland Land District.
SECTION 14, Block I, Takahue Survey District: Area, 2 acres 1 rood, more or less.
Section 28, Block I, Ahipara Survey District: Area, 1 acre 1 rood 4 perches, more or less.
Section 13, Block I, Takahue Survey District: Area, 2 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less.
Section 46, Block V, Takahue Survey District: Area, 2 roods 36 perches, more or less.
Section 45, Block V, Takahue Survey District: Area, 1 acre 1 rood 4 perches, more or less.
Section 49, Block V, Takahue Survey District: Area, 21 perches, more or less.
Section 48, Block V, Takahue Survey District: Area, 2 roods 30 perches, more or less.
Section 47, Block V, Takahue Survey District: Area, 2 perches, more or less.
Section 12, Block I, Takahue Survey District: Area, 1 acre 3 roods 26 perches, more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
North Auckland Land District. Mangonui County.
ALL those areas situated in Block I, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement 22 perches, 7 perches, 3 perches, 4 acres 0 roods 37 perches, 19 perches, and 13 perches, more or less, being parts of Lot 3B on a plan numbered 2899, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, and being portions of O.L.C. 214; and also those areas situated in Block I, Ahipara Survey District, containing by admeasurement 16 perches, 36 perches, 28 perches, and 24 perches, more or less, being parts of Lot 3B on a plan numbered 2899, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, and being portions of O.L.C. 214, comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 334, folio 55. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 15/79A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (S.O. All those areas situated in Block V, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement 3·2 perches and 3 acres 1 rood 18 perches, more or less, being parts of Lot 4A on a plan numbered 4093, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, and being portions of O.L.C. 214, comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 144, folio 224. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 15/79B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (S.O. All that area situated in Block V, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement 13 perches, more or less, being part of O.L.C. 214 shown on plan numbered 3074, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, and comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 227, folio 4; also all those areas in the Mangonui County, situated in Block V, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement 22 perches, 1 rood 13 perches, 1·7 perches, and 6 perches, more or less, being parts of Lot 2 on a plan numbered 9158, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, and being portions of O.L.C. 214, comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 227, folio 3. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 15/79C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (S.O. All those areas situated in Block I, Takahue Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2·4 perches, 1 rood 4 perches, 1 rood 22 perches, 3 perches, 22 perches, and 14 perches, more or less, being parts of Lot 3A on a plan numbered 2899, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, and being portions of O.L.C. 214, comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 321, folio 296. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 15/79D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (S.O. Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Kirk’s Bush Scenic Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in trust for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act) in the Kirk’s Bush Scenic Board, as constituted by notification dated the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, and published in Gazette of the twentieth day of that month.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Borough of Papakura containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood, more or less, situated in Block IV, Drury Survey District, being Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, on the plan numbered 15387, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being part of Allotment 8, Parish of Opaheke. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/336, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 6th day of May, 1939.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Pelorus Bridge Scenic Board.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in trust, for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the Pelorus Bridge Scenic Board, as constituted by notification dated the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the Gazette of the eleventh day of that month.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 59 (described as Crown land in the Proclamation published in Gazette of the 2nd March, 1939, on page 311), Block I, Wakamarina Survey District: Area, 5 acres 1 rood, more or less.
