Directing Sale of Railway Land at Te Puke under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 2nd day of May, 1939.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the thirty-fifth section of the Public Works Act, 1928 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the condition set forth in the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 29 perches.
Part Railway land, Proclamation 3237 (part Section 62), Block II, Maketu Survey District, Borough of Te Puke. (S.O. 30070.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5602, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Picton Suburban, Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of May, 1939.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for the purpose of supplying metal for the preparation of roads over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 66 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being part Section 52, Picton Suburban, situated in Block XI, Linkwater Survey District. Bounded towards the east by the Picton-Blenheim Road; towards the south by part Section 41, Waitohi Valley, part Section 52, Picton Suburban, and part Section 43, Waitohi Valley; and towards the west and north by railway land. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/603A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have control of the Hastwell Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of May, 1939.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Cecil Barondon Seymour,
Arthur Graham Thorby,
Tutanekai Jonah Manihera,
Henry Elliott, and
Victor William Caseley
to be the Hastwell Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twentieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Hastwell, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—HASTWELL DOMAIN.
SECTION 64, Hastwell Village Settlement, Block XIV, Mangaone Survey District: Area, 12 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less.

to be the Taylorville Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Dickson’s Hall, Wallsend, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TAYLORVILLE DOMAIN.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Lots 117 to 132 (inclusive), D.P. 81, Town of Taylorville, being portion of Sections 113, 114, and 126, Square 119, Block IX, Mawheranui Survey District, situated in the Borough of Brunner, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 12, folio 256, Westland Registry.
