A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Waipukurau Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of April, 1939.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land in the City of Auckland described in the First Schedule hereto, and do hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I do also declare the land comprised in the street closed, being adjacent to the endowment described in the Third Schedule hereto, to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS STREET.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 2·35 perches.

Being portion of Section 214, Town of Orakei; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

STREET CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 6·7 perches.

Adjoining Section 214, Town of Orakei; coloured green.

Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District (City of Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30061.)

All in the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102140, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

THIRD SCHEDULE.

THAT endowment, being an area of approximately 1 acre 2 roods 26·75 perches, situated in the City of Auckland, being Sections 92, 93, 94, 109, 110, 111, and 214, Town of Orakei, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Vol. 622, folio 246, Auckland Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of April, 1939.

Defining the Middle-line of a further Portion of the Paeroa-Pokeno Railway (28 m. 30 ch. to 36 m. 60 ch. from Paeroa).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the Paeroa–Pokeno Railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

COMMENCING at a point on the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 11912 of Allotment 47, Maramarua Parish, such point being the point of termination of the middle-line proclaimed by Proclamation dated 8th April, 1938, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1938, page 929, marked 28 miles 30 chains, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly and westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 3 miles 6 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Allotment 56, Lot 1, D.P. 27723 of Allotment 55, part Lot 2, D.P. 4811 of Allotment 55, parts Allotment 55, Lot 1, D.P. 4811 of Allotment 55, part Allotment 138, and Lot 6, D.P. 15482 of Allotment 42; all in the Koheroa Parish, Block I, Piako Survey District, Block VII, Wharekawa Survey District, and Block XVI, Opaheke Survey District; and terminating at a point marked 31 miles 36 chains in the middle of the Mangatangi Stream, being the boundary between the Auckland and North Auckland Land Districts, approximately 5 chains south of the northern boundary of the said Lot 6, D.P. 15482; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102285, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Commencing at the above-mentioned point marked 31 miles 36 chains, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly and westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 5 miles 24 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz., Lot 6, D.P. 15482, and Lot 5, D.P. 15038 of Allotment 42, Allotment 223, Crown land, Allotment 188, Lot 2, D.P. 23716 of Allotment 168, Allotments 196 and 192, Lot 1, D.P. 23716 of Allotment 173, parts Allotment 121 and 124 (D.P. 14595 and D.P. 15681), Lot 1, D.P. 17745 of Allotment 124, Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 9982 of Allotment 124, and Allotments 178 and 182; all in the Koheroa Parish, Blocks XIV, XV, and XVI, Opaheke Survey District, and Block II, Maramarua Survey District; and terminating at a point marked 36 miles 60 chains on the road forming the western boundary of the said Allotment 182, such point being the point of commencement of the middle-line defined by Proclamation dated 4th July, 1938, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1938, page 1595; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102286, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of April, 1939.
