Otago Electric-power District as at present constituted;
thence southerly generally along that boundary to the point
of commencement; the same being more particularly shown

of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon
edged blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes,
that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
taken in connection with street-widening, and that the said
parcels of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter
mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of April,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
