Lands in Auckland, Taranaki, Nelson, and Westland Land Districts forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Lands Boards of the respective land districts, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale for cash by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Government Buildings, Auckland, at 2.30 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, 16th May, 1939, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-FIRST-CLASS LAND. Mongonui County.-Opoe Survey District. SECTION 32, Block V : Area, 5 acres. Upset price, £5. Weighted with £15 (payable in cash) for improvements, consisting of a dwelling 26 ft. by 36 ft. in poor order. This property, which is suitable for residential purposes only, is situated alongside the Waiharara Post-office, School, and Store, thirteen miles from Awanui by formed road. The soil is a sandy loam on sandstone; watered by a creek at back. Elevation approximately 10 ft. above sea-level. Any further particulars required may be obtained from the undersigned.

Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Optional Tenures.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, 3rd April, 1939.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property is open for selection on optional tenures under the Land Act, 1924 ; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Friday, 12th May, 1939.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 17th May, 1939, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position, such as bank pass-book, certificates or letters of credit from managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms, or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply guarantees of their own financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-SECOND-CLASS LAND. Bay of Islands County.-Ruapekapeka Parish. ALLOTMENTS 118 and 119 : Area, 49 acres 1 rood 16 perches. Capital value, £25. Deposit on deferred payments, £5 : Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, 13s. Renewable lease : Half-yearly rent, 10s.
Situated on the Pakaru Road, two miles by formed and metalled road from Taumarere Railway-station and four miles and a half from Kawakawa Post-Office and School, this property comprises flat to easy sloping land in short manuka and wiwi rushes, mostly ploughable. There is some boundary and sub divisional fencing but this has been extensively burnt and is valueless. The property is poorly watered by a small stream, and is suitable for farming in conjunction with other land in the locality.
