Including Additional Land in the Mangonui Development Scheme.
Pursuant to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act and to be included in the Mangonui Development Scheme.
SCHEDULE.
All that area of land containing 49 acres, more or less, situate in the Tokerau Native Land Court District, and known as Section 1, Block XVI, Muriwhenua Survey District, being the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Vol. 166, folio 162, Auckland Registry.

Dredging Operations.
Position : Lat., 41° 44' S. ; long., 171° 35' E. (approx.).
Details : A wire rope has been laid across the channel from the front beacon to the Cattle Wharf for the moorings of the Dredger Maui. Mariners are requested not to use their anchor in the vicinity. Further notice will be given when the wire is removed.

Air Light established.
Position: Lat., 36° 52'.48 S.; long., 174° 41'.73 E. (approx.).
Abridged Description: Air F.
Details : A fixed light with greenish tinge has been established in the above position on the mast of the National Commercial Broadcasting station 1ZB. The light which will be exhibited from sunset to sunrise is visible seaward between approximately 210° and 228°, 20 miles to about 10 miles from the station.

Details : On the 5th March a least depth of 24 ft., M.L.W.S. was found when crossing the bar with the lighthouse bearing 076°.

Notice to Mariners No. 14 of 1939.

NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—NORTH EAST COAST.
Information about Depths, &c.
(1) WHANGAREI (Lower Harbour).—Position : Lat., 35° 52’ S.; long., 174° 32' E.
The least water in channel is 16 ft., in position 316° 0·7 miles from northern extremity of pier on Single Tree point. A bar at this depth extends east and west across the channel.
The beacon in position 279° 0·62 miles from the south-western extremity of Passage Island no longer exists. A small red barrel-buoy is moored in position 294° 0·73 miles from the south-western extremity of Passage Island and marks the end of the one fathom line.
A rock with less than 6 ft. of water on it exists in position 245° 0·12 miles from pier (lat., 35° 48’.8 S.; long., 174° 29’.7 E.) in McLeod Bay.
NOTE.—The positions of the unlighted beacons marking the channel are not to be depended upon.
(2) MINERS HEAD (lat., 36° 04' S.; long., 175° 20’.4 E.). The rock charted as P.A. north-westward of the head has a least depth of 43 ft. and is situated 344° one mile from the western extremity of the head.
Moko Hinau Islands (lat., 35° 56' S. ; long., 175° 08’ E.). A rock with less than 6 ft. over it exists 0·3 miles northward of Navire rock. A depth of 13 fathoms exists 0·75 miles northward of Simpson rock.
McGregor rock (lat., 36° 01' S.; long., 174° 39’.2 E.) No rock exists in this position and the least depth in the vicinity is 23 fathoms. A rock, known locally as McGregor rock, with a least depth of 20 ft., exists in position 080° 1·25 miles from the eastern extremity of Bream Tail.
Bream rock (lat., 35° 50' S.; long., 174° 36’.7 E.) has a least depth of 12 ft. over it.

Hobson Wharf: Lights established.
Position: Lat., 36° 50’·5 S.; long., 174° 45’·9 E. (approx.).
Abridged description of lights: F.G.G.Or. (Vertl.)
Details: The new wharf has been completed and is now in commission. About the 31st March, three fixed lights, green, green, and orange, disposed vertically at elevations of 32 ft., 26 ft., and 20 ft., respectively, will be exhibited from the centre of the northern end of the wharf.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Auckland Gardeners’ and Gardeners’ Labourers’ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 1558, situated at Auckland, and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 22 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.
