CORRIGENDUM.

Lands and Survey Department,
Wellington, 20th March, 1939.

IN the Warrant dated 1st March, 1939, and published in
New Zealand Gazette No. 14 of 9th March, 1939, page 365,
declaring land in Canterbury Land District to be subject to
the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, read "Canterbury
District Land Board" in lieu of "Taranaki District Land
Board."

Additional Land at Kopaki taken for the Purposes of the
North Island Main Trunk Railway and for Road-diversion
in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island
Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Kopaki in
addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the
said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection
therewith :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections
thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise
enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for the purposes above mentioned.

deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
March, 1939.
