Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land in connection
with the Proposed Work of levelling and forming Garden
Place, in the Borough of Hamilton.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the tenth day of
December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 92 of the fifteenth
day of the same month at page 2773, and deposited in the
Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 9816, taking land
in connection with the proposed work of levelling and forming
Garden Place in the Borough of Hamilton, in so far as it
affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land
being no longer required.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 101336,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of
December, 1939.

in terms of the Civil List Amendment Act, 1936, to
revoke the appointment of

John Alexander Lee, Esquire, of Auckland,
a Member of the House of Representatives, as Parliamentary
Under-Secretary in relation to the office of the Minister of
Finance.
