ERRATUM.—In the Notice to Mariners No. 66, published in Gazette No. 145 of the 20th December, 1939, at page 3569, under the heading List of Stations, New Zealand, the longitude of Cape Egmont should read "173° 45'" not "175° 45'."
Land taken for the Purposes of a Depot in Block II, Tokata Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 6·8 perches.
Being portion of Maraenui Block.
Situated in Block II, Tokata Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4071, blue.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105594, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of December, 1939.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XII, Puketapu Survey District—viz., Portion of the Gisborne-Napier via Hangaroa State Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block XII, Puketapu Survey District—viz., portion of the Gisborne-Napier via Hangaroa State Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at the easternmost corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 2437, being part Petane No. 1 Block, Block XII, Puketapu Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 7·7 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., part Lot 1, D.P. 2437, being part Petane No. 1 Block, Block XII, Puketapu Survey District, and terminating at a point on the said highway opposite the western boundary of the said part Lot, 1 D.P. 2437; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Hawke's Bay Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105751, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of December, 1939.
