Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Whatawhata Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1939.
Present:
THE HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
John Richard Higginson,
Stanley Guy Russell,
James Thomas Kemphorne,
Reginald William Calder,
Harry Theodore Wills,
George Henry Barton, and
Alfred Henry Percival Rowe
to be the Whatawhata Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Whatawhata Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
WHATAWHATA DOMAIN.—AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 39·5 perches, more or less, being Sections 71 to 78 inclusive, 81 to 88 inclusive, and a closed road, Suburbs of Whatawhata. Bounded, towards the north-east by Section 270, Pukete Parish, 500 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 800 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 700 links; towards the north-west by Allotment 273, Pukete Parish, 697 links; towards the north by a public road, 225·07 links: he all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/432, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
The Manukau County Council
to be the Maraeatai Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the fourteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at noon, as the time when, and the Manukau County Council Office, Auckland, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
MARAEATAI DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL those areas in Manukau County containing by admeasurement 2 roods 6 perches, 1 rood 27 perches, and 1 rood 1·2 perches, more or less, being Lots 19, 157, and 158 respectively, on a plan numbered 17095, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being portion Powhatura Block. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1087a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
All those areas in Manukau County containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 21 perches, 38·4 perches, and 1 rood 24·5 perches, more or less, being Lots 248, 263, and 365 respectively, on a plan numbered 20293, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being part Allotment 1, Maraeatai Parish. As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1067b, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

M. May, Nelson, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ENNER GLYNN DOMAIN.—NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wairau County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 7·8 perches, more or less, being Lots 1 and 22 (D.P. 2049), part Section 16, Suburban South, Block IV, Wairau Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1080a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS the Amuri County Council (hereinafter called “the said local authority”) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section three of the Main Highways Amendment Act, 1928, to borrow the sum of seven thousand five hundred pounds (£7,500) by a loan to be known as “Main Highways Loan, 1939” (hereinafter called “the said loan”), for the purpose of paying its portion of the cost of reconstructing and sealing the Red Post—Hanmer Forestry Camp section of the Red Post Junction—Jollies Pass Main Highway :
