A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Cape Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 2 roods 34·8 perches.
Passing through Section 119, Block XII, Cape Survey District. (S.O. plan 5535.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/21397, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2865, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of December, 1939.

Revoking in Part a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land in the Taranaki Land District for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation dated the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, and published in Gazette No. 67 of the fifteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, page 2034, setting apart the said land for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—BOROUGH OF OPUNAKE.
PART Section 12, Block XXXI, Town of Opunake: Area, 7·34 perches. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 6/7/225 “A,” deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Taranaki plan S.O. 7853.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of December, 1939.

Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is portion of a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic purposes by reason of the absence of bush of scenic value thereon:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 10, Block VIII, Town of Pongaroa: Area, 1 rood, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of December, 1939.
