A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Paekakariki Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 6 perches. Adjoining or passing through Section 100, Porirua R.D., and foreshore of Porirua Harbour.

Situated in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District. (S.O. 271/10M.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 102976, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of December, 1939.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid off in Block III, Punakitere Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of sections four hundred and seventy-eight, four hundred and seventy-nine, four hundred and eighty-two, and four hundred and eighty-three of the Native Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the said Act:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
