I, ALFRED IBBOTSON, General Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £103,250 divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 25,000.
  4. That calls to the amount to 18s. (eighteen shillings) per share have been made under which the sum of £22,500 has been received.
  5. That the amount of moneys received on account of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 31st October, 1939, is £471,454 10s. 10d.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 31st October, 1939, is £477,084 16s. 4d.
  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of Estates under Administration during the half-year ended 31st October, 1939, is £62,153 7s. 10d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of November last were debts owing to sundry persons by the company—viz.: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £172,471 7s. 10d; on estimated liabilities, nil.
  9. That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £10,880; other securities, £192,649 6s. 8d.; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash on deposit, £29,420 5s. 1d.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of FRED LOWE MOTORS, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 222 that by entry in the minute-book, the above company passed the following resolution on the 9th day of December, 1939:—

“That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that MORRIS STEWART SPENCE, of Napier, Public Accountant, and FRANK RANDOLPH SEATON ASHTON, of Napier, Public Accountant, either of whom may act in the premises, be and are hereby appointed liquidators of the company.”

PURSUANT to the provisions of sections 234 and 300 (7) of the Companies Act, 1933, Fred Lowe Motors, Limited, a private company having its registered office at Napier, and now in voluntary liquidation, hereby summons a meeting of its creditors, and hereby gives notice that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held at the offices of Messrs. McCulloch, Butler, and Spence, Public Accountants, Tennyson Street, Napier, on Monday, 18th December, 1939, at 2.15 p.m.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of Bestofall Toys, Ltd., will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the registered office of the company, Rathbone Street, Whangarei, on Friday, the 15th day of December, 1939, at 3.30 o’clock in the afternoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claim will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, the above-named company has duly entered in its minute-book on the 6th day of December, 1939, the following extraordinary resolutions:—

  1. That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
  2. That in pursuance of section 235 of the Companies Act, 1933, ARTHUR WELLINGTON HODGSON, of Westport, Accountant, be and is hereby nominated as liquidator of the company.

And that pursuant to sections 234 and 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, a meeting of creditors of the said company will be held at the registered office of the company, Wakefield Street, Westport, on the 15th day of December, 1939, at 11 a.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, appoint a committee of inspection.

All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 23rd day of December, 1939, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.
