Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forest
Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule
hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Auckland Land District, Tauraruaui
County, containing by admeasurement a total area of 11,894
acres 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, and being Sections 1 to
14 inclusive, Block XIV, Ongarue Survey District, Sections
5 to 14 inclusive, Block XIII, Hurakia Survey District,
Sections 1 to 11 inclusive, Block IV, Tuhua Survey District,
and Sections 1 to 7 inclusive, Block I, Puketapu Survey
District. As the same are more particularly delineated on
plan No. 52/8, deposited in the Head Office of the State
Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924,
I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised
in the pieces of closed road described in the First Schedule
hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endowment for
primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto,
shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 1513r, Block VII, Akatore Survey District: Area,
3 roods 33·5 perches, more or less.
Also Section 1512r, Block IX, Akatore Survey District:
Area, 2 roods 11·6 perches, more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 243 acres
3 roods 26·3 perches, more or less, being Lot 2, deposit plan
960, Otago Registry, and being part of Blocks VII and IX,
Akatore Survey District. Bounded, towards the north and
west by Section 20, Block VII, 2685·2 links and 2326·6 links,
respectively; towards the north-east generally by a public
road, Section 1513r, again a public road, Section 1512r,
Block IX, and again a public road, 748·1 links, 860·1 links,
709·9 links, 1498·5 links, 232·4 links, 546·2 links, 290·1 links,
527·7 links, 561·9 links, 711 links, 341·5 links, 520·2 links, and
373 links; towards the south-east and south-west generally
by a public road 662·7 links, 359·7 links, 218·1 links, 372 links,
596·4 links, 1362·6 links, 382·2 links, 157·3 links, 272·2 links,
405 links, 35·5 links, 260·3 links, 392·1 links, 566·8 links,

which has been made in the area.

the Waiapu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road
in Blocks I, II, VI, and VII, Waiapu Survey District,
Gisborne Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto
traverses Native land and has been used by the
public as a public road and has been formed, improved, and
maintained out of public funds :
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on
the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-seven, and issued pursuant to section four hundred
and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and
declared the said road to be a public road :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed
as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been
forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four
hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should
be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act,
1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described
in the Schedule hereto.
