NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Regulations Act, 1936, of the making of the above-entitled regulations under the above-entitled Act.

Serial number : 1939/28.

Date of enactment : 8th day of March, 1939.

Copies can be purchased at the Government Printing and Stationery Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington. Price for cash with order 2d., plus postage ld. extra. Prices for quantities supplied on application. Copies may be ordered by quoting above serial number.

Appointment of Officer under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed Charles Henry Kendrick, of Otahuhu, to be an Officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the Auckland Acclimatization District.

Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officer under the Child Welfare Act, 1925.

IN pursuance of section 2 of the Child Welfare Act, 1925, I, Peter Fraser, Minister of Education, do hereby appoint the following person as Honorary Child Welfare Officer for the purposes of the said Act for the period ending 31st December, 1939 :-

Appointment of Issuing Officer for the Purpose of issuing Licenses to fish for Trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 2 (2) of the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby authorize--

Eric Athol Gurney to be an issuing officer for the purpose of issuing licenses to fish for trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, vice W. H. Swanger.

The Royal New Zealand Air Force : Appointments, &c.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, &c., of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force :-

REGULAR AIR FORCE.

Group Captain the Honourable R. A. Cochrane, C.B.E., A.F.C., R.A.F., relinquishes the appointment of Chief of the Air Staff and First Member of the Air Board. Dated 8th March, 1939.

Group Captain H. W. L. Saunders, M.C., D.F.C., M.M., R.A.F., is attached for duty (dated 20th January, 1939), and is appointed Chief of the Air Staff and First Member of the Air Board, vice Group Captain the Honourable R. A. Cochrane, C.B.E., A.F.C., R.A.F. Dated 8th March, 1939.

Appointment of Issuing Officer for the Purpose of issuing Licenses to fish for Trout under the Rotorua Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 5 of the Rotorua Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, I, Joseph William Allen Heenan, Under-Secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize Flint, W. H., Tobacconist, Wairoa, Hawke's Bay, to be an issuing officer for the purpose of issuing licenses to fish for trout under the Rotorua Trout-fishing Regulations, 1929, vice A. D. Hall, Marine Parade, Wairoa, Hawke's Bay.
