✨ Bankruptcy and Land Transfer Notices
Abstract of Conditions of Lease.
(1) Term of leases to be twenty-one years from Ist January, 1940, and possession to be given on that date conditional upon the prescribed deposit being paid.
(2) Lessees to have the right to cultivate the land.
(3) Leases not to contain right of renewal or provision for compensation for improvements. In the event of the lands being re-offered for lease on termination of present leases the improvements belonging to the lessees will be protected to them.
(4) Lessees to be liable for payment of all rates, taxes, and other assessments.
(5) Lessees to have no right to sublet, transfer, or otherwise dispose of the demised lands except with the prior written consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Invercargill.
(6) Lessees not to engage in any noxious, noisome, or offensive trade.
(7) Lessees to keep their lands free from all noxious weeds and rabbits to the satisfaction of the said Commissioner.
(8) Lessees to obtain the said Commissioner's consent before effecting improvements and to maintain the existing improvements to the satisfaction of the Commissioner.
(9) Twelve months' rent at the rate offered, together with £l ls. lease fee, to be paid on the fall of the hammer, thereafter rent to be payable half-yearly in advance on the first days of January and July each year.
(10) Any lease to be subject to termination if a lessee fails to fulfil any of the conditions of the lease whether expressed or implied within thirty days after the date on which the same should be fulfilled.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.
A PPLICATION having been made to me to register a re-entry by THE WAIARIKI DISTRICT MAORI LAND BOARD, as agent of the Native owners, the lessors under memorandum of lease 9489, affecting all that piece of land containing 118 acres, situated in Blocks IV and V, Whangaparaoa Survey District, being the Poito No. 9 Block, and being all the land in provisional register, Vol. 150, folio 29 (Auckland), Gisborne Registry, whereof HEREWINI APLATA, of Raukokore, Farmer, is the registered lessee, *I hereby give notice that (unless sufficient cause is shown to the contrary) it is my intention to register such re-entry as requested at the expiration of one month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the destruction of memorandum of mortgage No. 29395, of which HUNTER GEORGE WITTERS, of Gisborne, Warehouseman, is the registered mortgagee, affecting Lot 4 on deposited plan 1956, being part of Section 9, Block F, Whataupoko No. 6 Block, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 56, folio 268, Gisborne Registry, and application having been made under section 40 of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, to dispense with production of the said mortgage for noting a memorial of discharge thereon, notice is hereby given of my intention to register such memorandum of discharge on the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of Memorandum of mortgage No. 2320, of which the VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE HOKITIKA SAVINGS BANK is the registered mortgagee, over all those parcels of land containing together nine (9) acres two (2) roods twenty-nine (29) perches, more or less, situate in the Borough of Greymouth, being parts of Sections 1346, 1347, 1402, and 1978, Block XII, Greymouth Survey District, and being all the land in certificate of title, Vol. 41, folio 55 (Westland Registry), and application having been made to me to register a discharge of the said mortgage, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to register such discharge, dispensing with the production of the said memorandum of mortgage at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 246, folio 291 (Canterbury Registry), for part of Town Reserve 137, situated in the City of Christchurch, whereof MARY FRANCES PRENDERGAST (now deceased), described in the said certificate of title as MARY PRENDERGAST, wife of Patrick Prendergast, of Longbeach, Farmer, is the registered proprietor, and application having been made to me for the issue of a new certificate of title in lieu thereof, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to issue such new certificate of title accordingly at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
