Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Town of Taupo, Taubara
Survey District, Auckland Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
November, 1939.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for municipal purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the
reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve
for hospital purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve
for municipal purposes to a reserve for hospital purposes.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTIONS 1 to 13 (inclusive), Block II, Town of Taupo,
Block II, Taubara Survey District: Area, 3 acres 2 roods
11·4 perches, more or less.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waikari
Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of
November, 1939.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint
The Waipara County Council
to be the Waikari Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Monday, the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-nine, at 10 o’clock a.m. as the time when,
and the County Offices, Waikari, as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
WAIKARI DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE No. 4232 (formerly Lot 9, D.P. 9063), Block XII,
Waipara Survey District: Area, 1 rood 30 perches, more or
less.

Directing Application of Moneys received in respect of the
Tongaporutu Domain, Taranaki Land District, for the
Purposes of the Tainui Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
November, 1939.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and autho-
rities conferred by section sixty-one of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
direct that from the moneys received in respect of the
Tongaporutu Domain, described in the First Schedule
hereto, and at the date hereof lying to the credit of the
said Domain, a sum not exceeding one hundred pounds shall
be applied in managing, administering, and improving the
Tainui Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
TONGAPORUTU DOMAIN.—TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 23, Tongaporutu Village, Block I, Mini Survey
District: Area, 4 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
TAINUI DOMAIN.—TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 0 roods
15 perches, more or less, being Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3A 2
Block, Block I, Tainui Survey District: Bounded, towards
the north generally by the Mokau River, 190 links, and
Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3A 3 Block, 2644·9 links; towards the
south by Mokau Road, 2359·9 links; and towards the west
by Mokau-Mohakatino 2c 3A 1 Block, 897·9 links; be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1017A, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

Revoking the Reservation over the Puketitiri Domain.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of
November, 1939.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS a notice of intention to issue an Order in
Council declaring that the Puketitiri Domain,
described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, and shall be deemed to be Crown land available for
disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924,
was published in the Gazette of the seventh day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before
both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions
of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of
Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the
twenty-eighth day of September and third day of October,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, approved the
proposed revocation as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one of
section forty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date
hereof the Puketitiri Domain, described in the Schedule
hereto, shall cease to be subject to Part II of the said Act,
and shall be Crown land available for disposal by way of
sale for cash under the Land Act, 1924.

SECTION 30, Block XIV, Pohui Survey District: Area,
11 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less.
