Directing the Sale of Land in the Borough of Petone, under the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of November, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.

Declaring Portion of Road in the Borough of Gisborne to be under the Control and Management of the Gisborne Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of November, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Gisborne Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road dealt with: 1·5 perches. Being formerly portion of Lot 39, D.P. 3069, being part Waikanae No. 4 Block.

Situated in the Borough of Gisborne (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1597, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103084, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of a Road in Blocks IX and XIII, Whakatane Survey District, to be a Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of November, 1939.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Government road: 5 acres 3 roods 31 perches. Adjoining or passing through Allotments 72, 275, and part Allotment 276A on D.P. 1005, and Allotments 26, 27, and part Allotment 70B, Waimana Parish.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Hawthorne Road, in the City of Christchurch, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of November, 1939.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Christchurch City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land as shown edged blue on the plan referred to in the said Schedule and fronting the said street within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street, in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 29·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 3 and parts Lots 2 and 4, D.P. 8384, being part Rural Section 135. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 101139, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
