A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a prison ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :- Being A. R. P. 0 2 33·3 Closed road adjoining or passing through part Waimarino 4A No. 5 Block; coloured yellow. 108 1 13 Parts of Waimarino 4A No. 5 Block; coloured red.

Situated in Block IV, Manganui Survey District. (S.O. 20332.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103908, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1939.

Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose to be Crown Land.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 5 acres 3 roods 31 perches. Being stopped Government road adjoining or passing through Allotments 72, 275, and part Allotment 276A, on D.P. 1005, and Allotments 26, 27, and part Allotment 70B, Waimana Parish.

Situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Whakatane Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30246.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 104183, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of November, 1939.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 2 acres l rood 26·4 perches. Being portion of Sections 73 and 74, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey District (Borough of Green Island) (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 1061 TN.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 104466, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1939.

Land and the Leasehold Interest in Land taken for the Purposes of a Public School in the City of Nelson.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto and the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto held from the Native Trustee by Dorothy Irene McKenzie under and by virtue of a memorandum of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at Nelson, Certificate of Title, Volume 77, folio 147, are hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Nelson as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :- Being A. R. P. 0 1 22·1 Part Lot 4, D.P. 1441, being part Sections 62 and 63 (N.R.'s.); coloured red. 0 0 20·7 Lot 5, D.P. 1441, being part Section 62 (N.R.); coloured blue. 0 0 6·7 Part Lot 6, D.P. 1441, being part Sections 62 and 63 (N.R.'s.); coloured yellow.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the estate of leasehold is taken : 7·6 perches. Being part Lot 4, D.P. 1441, being part Section 62 (N.R.); coloured red.

All situated in the City of Nelson (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 9086.)

All in the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103117, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of November, 1939.
