Additional Land near Opunake taken for the Purposes of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway (Opunake Branch).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Opunake Branch of the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway to take further land near Opunake in addition to the land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Blocks IX and XII, Opunake Survey District. (S.O. 7840.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5852, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of October, 1939.

Additional Land near Te Kuiti, taken for the purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land near Te Kuiti in addition to land previously required for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway to take further land near Henderson in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land : 2 acres 2 roods 18 perches.

Portion of Allotment 14, Parish of Waikomiti, Block II, Titirangi Survey District, Waitemata County. (S.O. 29965.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5554, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of October, 1939.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of Papakura, at Papakura.

[L.S.] GALWAY, Governor-General.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Papakura Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
