Additional Land at Paeroa taken for the Purposes of the Waikato-Thames Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Waikato-Thames Railway to take further land at Paeroa in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2 roods 3-64 perches. Part Taiwhakarewakauri Block, D.P. 1400.
Situated in Block XII, Waihou Survey District, Borough of Paeroa. (S.O. 30354.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5865, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of October, 1939.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Opunake Branch of the Foxton - New Plymouth Railway to take further land at Opunake in addition to the land previously acquired for the purpose of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 5862, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue and red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of October, 1939.
