Notice of Intention to take Land in the Johnsonville Town District for Housing Purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 32 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of houses—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Johnsonville and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to take Land in the Borough of Hawera for the Purposes of a Secondary School.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a secondary school. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Hawera and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 9·6 perches.

Being portion of Lot 14, D.P. 76, being part Section 3, Town of Hawera.

Situated in the Borough of Hawera.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 104232, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 32 of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the chief post-office at Wanganui and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Declaration of Result of Election of Producers' Representatives on the Hop Marketing Committee.

I, FRANCIS JOSEPH DAVEY, Returning Officer for the purposes of the election of five (5) producers' representatives for appointment to the Hop Marketing Committee established by the Primary Products Marketing Act, 1936, and the Agriculture (Emergency Powers) Act, 1934, do hereby declare the result of the election on the poll which closed at Nelson at noon on the 27th day of September, 1939, to be as follows:—
