Settlement Lands in Auckland Land District proclaimed to be Ordinary Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as amended by subsection one of section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1935, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any settlement land to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule hereto are settlement lands within the meaning of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and it is deemed expedient that the said lands shall cease to be settlement lands and become ordinary Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, amended as aforesaid, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Whakatane County.-Orini Settlement.
SECTIONS 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s: Area, 480 acres 1 rood 3 perches.
Part Section 5s : Area, 12 acres 3 roods 9 perches.
All in Blocks III and IV, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 36/1387 "B," deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland plan S.O. 23274.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of September, 1939.

Land in North Auckland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been disposed of by way of sale for cash and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-endowment land as from the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine.

SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALLOTMENT 163, Ararimu Parish: Area, 7 acres 2 roods. (S.O. Plan 30327.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of September, 1939.

Consenting to Stopping a Road adjoining Blocks XI and XII, Town of Dunkeld, Tuapeka County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of September, 1939.
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Tuapeka County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 rood 10Β·6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 1 and 8, Block XI, and Section 1, Block XII, Town of Dunkeld (Otago R.D.). (S.O. D 87.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103066, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Consenting to Stopping Portion of Road in Block VIII, Otama Survey District, Coromandel County.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of September, 1939.
Present:
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Coromandel County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 perch.
Adjoining or passing through Kaokaotunoa Block.
Situated in Block VIII, Otama Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29326.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 103528, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
