In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of MUTUAL BUYERS ASSOCIATION, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of members held on the 7th day of September, 1939, the following special resolution was passed:—

“ That the company cannot, by reason of the Import Control Regulations, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up, and that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And it was further resolved:—

“That JOHN KEITH CLARK, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.”

All persons having claims against the company are requested to render accounts for same, with full particulars, to the undersigned not later than the 30th day of September, 1939.

NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the company will be held on Wednesday, the 4th day of October, 1939, at 11 a.m., and a meeting of the creditors at 11.30 a.m. on the same day. The meetings will be held at the office of the liquidator, A.M.P. Buildings, Cathedral Square, Christchurch.

The purpose of the meeting is to lay a copy of the accounts before those persons (all interested have, however, received a copy of the accounts).

THE MINING ACT, 1926.

NOTICE is hereby given by BARRYTOWN GOLD DREDGING, LIMITED, that it has applied to the Warden of the Westland Mining District at Greymouth for a license for a water-race, situate partly in Crown land and partly in Section 3255, Block V, Waiwhero Survey District, and that such application and all objections thereto will be heard at the Warden’s Court, Greymouth, on Tuesday, 10th October, 1939, at 10.30 in the forenoon.
