Mining Privileges to be struck off the Register.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of section 188 (3) of the Mining Act, 1926, as amended by section 18 of the Mining Amendment Act, 1937, that unless sufficient cause to the contrary be shown within one month from the date hereof the mining privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Register.

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 188 (4) of the Mining Act, 1926, as amended by section 18 of the Mining Amendment Act, 1937, that the mining privilege mentioned in the Schedule hereto has been struck off the Register.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been received from A. A. Dunn for a license to take mussels for sale at Thames by means of the 37 ft. 24 h.p. vessel “Waiheke” using power-drawn nets.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 19th September, 1939.

Retail Sale of Motor-spirit.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been received from Ngutuwera Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., for a license to sell (retail) motor-spirit at a dairy factory at Ngutuwera.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application, and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 28th September, 1939. All representations must set out clearly the grounds for same, and include a statement showing the gallonage throughput of petrol sold, and the nature of the business conducted by the person making the representations.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been received from—

(1) R. Alfano for a variation in the conditions of a license previously granted him (namely to take fish for sale by means of the 58 ft. 110 h.p. vessel, “Marconi” using trawl-nets), so as to enable him to land fish at Port Ahuriri, such fish, however, to be sold in Wellington.

(2) T. Delich for a license to take fish for sale at Auckland by means of a vessel to be constructed using Danish seine-nets.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of these applications and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 20th September, 1939.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land, having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Otago Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.
