THE MOTOR-SPIRITS (REGULATION OF PRICES) ACT, 1933.
THE MOTOR SPIRITS PRICES (NELSON-BLENHEIM) REGULATIONS 1933, AMENDMENT NO. 1.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Regulations Act, 1936, of the making of the above-entitled regulations under the above-entitled Act.

Serial number: 1939/163.

Date of enactment: 6th day of September, 1939.

Copies can be purchased at the Government Printing and Stationery Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington. Price for cash with order 2d., plus postage 1d. extra. Prices for quantities supplied on application. Copies may be ordered by quoting above serial number.

COMMAND.

The period of command of Major A. V. Jenkins, 19th Medium Battery, N.Z.A., is extended to 28th February, 1940.

REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.

Lieutenant G. A. Nicholls, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 15th May, 1939, and is posted to the 2nd Medium Battery. Dated 3rd September, 1939.

THE WAIKATO REGIMENT.

Frank Cameron Forster to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 14th August, 1939.

THE HAWKE’S BAY REGIMENT.

Captain C. M. Williamson, 1st Battalion, to be Major. Dated 1st June, 1939.

The undermentioned Lieutenants, 1st Battalion, to be Captains:—

THE NELSON, MARLBOROUGH, AND WEST COAST REGIMENT.

Lieutenant F. G. B. Evenden, from the Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 1st August, 1937, and is posted to the 1st Battalion. Dated 31st August, 1939.

N.Z. MEDICAL CORPS.

Captain J. H. Fahey, M.B., attached 3rd Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, to be Major. Dated 23rd August, 1939.

William Gelston Gray, M.B., Ch.B., to be Lieutenant, Northern Military District (unattached). Dated 17th August, 1939.

N.Z. CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.

S. J. Bridge, Chaplain, 3rd Class (Salvation Army) is transferred from Area 4 to Area 11. Dated 4th September, 1939.

The Reverend J. Sands, Chaplain, 4th Class (Congregational), is transferred from Area 11 to Area 3. Dated 3rd September, 1939.

The Reverend Malcolm William Wilson to be Chaplain, 4th Class (Presbyterian), Area 10. Dated 30th August, 1939.

N.Z. VETERINARY CORPS.

Captain A. Mackenzie, O.B.E., M.R.C.V.S., Edin., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), Area 4. Dated 31st August, 1939.

RESERVE OF OFFICERS.

The Hawke’s Bay Regiment.

Captain W. S. Cooper is posted to the Retired List with permission to retain his rank and wear the prescribed uniform. Dated 6th September, 1939.
