A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas in the Nelson Land District, Waimea County, containing together 199 acres 3 roods, more or less, and described as follows:—
All those areas containing by admeasurement 191 acres 3 roods 16 perches, more or less, being formerly roads closed by a Proclamation dated 26th September, 1938, Gazette 1938, page 2142, situated in Blocks, I, II, V, VI, IX, X, and XIII, Gordon Survey District, and Block I, Motupiko Survey District and described as follows:—

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked as above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (S.O. Plans 445R, 446R, 447R, and 448R.)
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, and being Section 13, Block IX, Gordon Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 108/31 deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of February, 1939.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Waihou Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road:
3 roods 22 perches.
Being portion of Section 8.
Situated in Block IV, Waihou Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29410.)
In the Auckland Land District: as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 98658, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1939.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Amuri County, containing by admeasurement 35 acres, more or less, and being part of Reserve number 3421, situated in Block XIII, Culverden Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west by the Main Waiau Road 3115·2 links; towards the north-east by the other part of Reserve number 3421, 1560 links; and towards the south generally by the Hurunui River. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 129/30, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of February, 1939.
