Classification of Road in Waikohu County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the Waikohu County Council’s proposed classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Waikohu County.
SCHEDULE.
WAIKOHU COUNTY.
Road classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 7 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which when carrying a load has an axle weight of not more than 4½ tons on any one axle:—
Tarndale Road.

Excluding Streets and Roads from Limitation as to Speed imposed by the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, Section 3.
IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, the Minister of Transport does hereby revoke that portion of the Warrant dated the 20th day of December, 1937, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 82 of 22nd day of December, 1937, at page 2928, insofar as it applies to the street described in the First Schedule hereto, and does hereby exclude the streets and roads described in the Second Schedule hereto from the limitation as to speed imposed by the said section.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
SITUATED within Palmerston Borough—
Palmerston–Queenstown via Becks Main Highway No. 124 (all that portion from its junction with Brough Street to the northern boundary of Palmerston Borough, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 26 chains).
SECOND SCHEDULE.
SITUATED within Lumsden Town District—
Queenstown–Invercargill Main Highway No. 229 (all that portion commencing at a point 11 chains measured along the said road in a north-westerly direction from its junction with Lana Street and terminating at the southern boundary of Lumsden Town District, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 37 chains).
Gore–Te Anau–Milford Sound Main Highway No. 134 (all that portion commencing at a point 5 chains measured along the said road in a south-easterly direction from its junction with Bush Street and terminating at the eastern boundary of Lumsden Town District, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 30 chains; also all that portion commencing at a point 2 chains measured along the said road in a northerly direction from its junction with Albion Street and terminating at the northern boundary of Lumsden Town District, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 65 chains).
Situated within Nightcaps Town District—
Winton–Ohai–Orawia Main Highway No. 135 (all that portion commencing at a point 2 chains measured along the said road in a north-westerly direction from its junction with Opio Road, and terminating at the south-eastern boundary of Nightcaps Town District, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 12 chains).
Situated within Winton Borough—
Eglinton Street (all that portion commencing at a point 2 chains measured along the said street in a westerly direction from its junction with Mackenzie Street, proceeding thence in a westerly and southerly direction and terminating at the western boundary of Winton Borough, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 30 chains).

Wellington–Napier via Wairarapa Main Highway No. 15 (all that portion commencing at a point 14 chains measured along the said road in a south-westerly direction from its junction with Moreton Road and terminating at the southern boundary of Carterton Borough, as now constituted, a distance of approximately 48 chains).
