IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of E. MACGREGOR, LTD.
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above company, duly convened and held at Waipawa on the 16th day of December, 1938, the following resolution was carried:—
“ That in view of the sale of the business formerly carried on by the company at Waipawa, the company be voluntarily wound up, and Mr. A. F. LEE be appointed as liquidator. The liquidation to take effect as from the date of this resolution.”

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.
NOTICE is hereby given that Willouby Investments, Limited, has changed its name to H. P. Willoughby, Limited, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

I, JAMES MORRISON, Secretary of Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Limited, do solemnly and sincerely declare:—

That the liability of the members is limited.

That the capital of the company is £500,000 made up as follows:—
100,000 shares of £1 each fully paid .. 100,000
In addition thereto £400,000 of Share Capital was converted into A and B Perpetual Debenture Stock, which rank for payment after all creditors, but which is part of the capital of the company .. .. .. .. 400,000

That the amount of all moneys paid on account of Estates is £214,879 14s. 11d. for the year ended 30th September, 1938.

That the amount of the balance held on 30th September, 1938, to the credit of Estates under administration is £28,188 0s. 10d.

That the liabilities of the company on the 30th September last were £670,705.
Debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz., on judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on terminable debentures, £316,400; on simple contracts, £354,305; on estimated liabilities, nil.
- That the assets of the company on that day were £1,256,748.
And I make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand entitled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of the BAY OF PLENTY PRESS COMPANY, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the members of the above-named company has been summoned for the purpose of passing a resolution for voluntary winding up and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held in the Whakatane County Chambers at Whakatane, on the 19th day of January, 1939, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.
Business—Consideration of the statement of position, &c.; nomination of liquidator; appointment of a committee of inspection if thought fit.

EDUCATION BOARD OF THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.
NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land, namely, all that piece of land situated in the Provincial District of Auckland containing 13 acres 3 roods 3·3 perches, more or less, being the Blocks situated in the Waihou Survey District called Te Hape No. 3B, Rawhitiroa C No. 1, Rawhitiroa C No. 2, Rawhitiroa No. 2, Rawhitiroa B No. 1 and part of the Block called Rawhitiroa B No. 2A.
A plan of the land is deposited in the Post-office at Paeroa and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.
