NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of The Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1924, the Public Works Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and their respective amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a certain public work—namely, for street purposes at Fairlie Terrace in the City of Wellington—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or the taking of such land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington containing approximately forty-five one hundredths of a perch (.45p.), being portion of Lot 17, Block V, Deposited Plan No. 1185, being part Section 28 Karori District, coloured red on the plan abovementioned.

NOTICE is hereby given that Murray Deodorisers, Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1933, and having its registered office at Maritime Buildings, Quay Street, in the City of Auckland, intends to present a petition to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington praying that the above-mentioned letters patent be extended for a further term : And notice is hereby given that the said company intends to apply to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington at 10.30 a.m. on Friday, the 3rd day of March, 1939, for a day to be fixed before which the said petition shall not be heard : And notice is hereby given that any persons desirous of being heard in objection to the prayer of the said petition must before the said Friday, the 3rd day of March, 1939, lodge notice of such objection in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Wellington, and serve a copy thereof at the office of the said company’s solicitors, Messrs. Park, Hemery, and Ennis, 134 Featherston Street, Wellington : And notice is hereby further given that the office of the said Messrs. Park, Hemery, and Ennis is the address for service on the said company of any document of which service upon the said company is required in accordance with the rules of the Supreme Court of New Zealand under the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1921–22.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above-named company held at Auckland on Tuesday, 20th December, 1938, the following special resolution was carried :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily and that L. I. PLIMMER, of Palmerston North, Secretary, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”
All persons or companies having claims against the above-named company are required to send full particulars thereof to the undersigned on or before the 31st January, 1939, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.
