ROTORUA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Rotorua
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £7,310 authorized to be raised by the
Rotorua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act
for installing of stormwater drainage scheme in Fenton,
Hinemaru, and Eruera Streets, the said Rotorua Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·095d.
in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property
of the Borough of Rotorua ; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership business
formerly subsisting between Moss, Spence, and Winfield,
Barristers and Solicitors, at Inglewood, and later known as
Moss and Winfield, Solicitors, Inglewood, has been dissolved.
Cyril Winfield, Esquire, Solicitor, Inglewood, carries on the
business on his own account and will receive and pay all
accounts owing to or by the said business.

up of the company was carried.

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public
Works Act, 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton County
Council proposes under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work—namely,
the improvement of a public road, being No. 64 Masterton-
Castlepoint Main Highway—and for the purposes of such
public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken : And notice is hereby further given
that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited
in the Public Office of the Clerk to the said Council situate
at Chapel Street, Masterton, and is open for inspection,
without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public works or to the
taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing,
and send the same, within forty days from the first publication
of this notice, to the Masterton County Council at the afore-
said office.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
OWING to the retirement of Mr. Ronald David Greenwood
(who has recently been appointed General Manager
of the National Carbon Pty., Ltd.) from the firm of Messrs.
Ernest Hunt, Turner, and Heslop, the partnership heretofore
existing is hereby dissolved as from the 31st December, 1938,
