Recreation Reserve in Marlborough Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1938.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Marlborough Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Koromiko Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Koromiko Domain Board.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 1 of 32, Waitohi Valley, Block XV, Linkwater Survey District: Area, 1 acre 3 roods 2 perches, more or less.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Mount Drury Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Mount Drury Domain Board.

Tidal Flats at Farewell Spit declared to be a Reserve for a Sanctuary for the Preservation of Wild Life.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1938.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection four of section thirty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1938, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land situated between high and low water marks in the vicinity of the land at Farewell Spit set apart as a reserve for the preservation of flora and fauna by subsection one of the said section thirty-three) to be a reserve for a sanctuary for the preservation of wild life.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of tidal flat, exposed between high-water mark and low-water mark at spring tides, containing 23,300 acres, more or less, and situated adjacent to Farewell Spit in Blocks III, IV, VI, VII, and VIII, Onetaua Survey District, Nelson Land District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/10/2s, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon in outline bordered red.

Vesting a Reserve in the Oamaru Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1938.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for municipal purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Oamaru:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Oamaru, in trust, for municipal purposes.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 10, Block I, Town of Oamaru: Area, 1 rood, more or less.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Stafford Public Hall Board.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of December, 1938.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. M. J. SAVAGE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a site for a public hall: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in a special Board as hereinafter provided:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto for the period of five years from the date hereof (unless previously amended or revoked under the said Act) in the undermentioned persons, namely:β€”
