SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Whakatane County.—Rangitaiki Lower Survey District (Tuararangaia Block).
SECTION 1, Block III: Area, 695 acres. Capital value, £700. Deposit on deferred payments, £35: Half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £21 12s. 3d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £17 10s.
This is an undeveloped section situated on the Te Teko-Galatea Road, seven miles from Te Teko Post-office, School, and Saleyards, twelve miles from Awakeri Railway-station and the Rangitaiki Dairy Factory; access is from Whakatane by twenty miles formed and metalled road.
The section rises steeply from road frontage on to easy rolling country with small flats covered in fern and teatree merging into bush at the back. Watered by creeks in deep gullies. Approximately 250 acres is in bush, the balance being fern and teatree country all in its natural state. Ragwort is in evidence and requires attention. This section is not considered suitable as a separate holding but approximately 150 acres could be developed into useful run-off country.

Land in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered by public auction for sale for cash at the Lands Office, Tauranga, on Tuesday, 24th January, 1939, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Tauranga County.—Maketu Survey District.
SECTION 19, Block IV: Area, 10 acres. Upset price, £60.
This is a level section situated about two miles from the Maketu School, access being by tar-sealed and metalled road from Te Puke approximately twelve miles distant. The section comprises swamp land at present badly infested with blackberry. It is not suitable as a separate holding but would be a useful adjunct to an established holding in the locality.
